One of my clients, a financial institution located downtown Chicago, is in need of an AIX/Linux Administrator/Liaison individual to fill a permanent need. Permanent Position - Chicago, IL
$80k-$90k base salary
We are looking for an AIX/Linux admin person who will not be doing installs but will be the liason between the group that does the OS installs and the application support group. This person should have heavy unix (AIX/Linux) admin experience in a large shop. It owuld be desirable if they have done off platform migration. It is desired that they have some programming knowledge such as doing scripts. It is desireable that they have some relational database experience and Sybase would be ideal but not required. This individual must have good communications skills and be able to manage multiple group relationships.
