b) Special Top 11 List
Thanks to all those who submitted to last week's list, "Top 11 Comcast
plans for Mickey Mouse." Even though the deal may be off, the twisted
humor of our dear readers lives on in this special, online-only list,
complete with outtakes.
http://update.networkcomputing.com/cgi-bin4/DM/y/efSB0E43wY0V40CN120AK
Plus, be sure to send us your nominations for our current list, "Top 11
good things about being named 'Version 2.0.'" Here are a few ideas to
get things started.
--Hard for bullies to rhyme Version with poopy or pants.

2) Down to Business Column: Cut IP Some Regulatory Slack
------------------------------------------------------------

Management Network Identity Enforcement?
------------------------------------------------------------
Traditional internal network security has failed to secure critical
data
on enterprise networks. Given today's increasingly hostile and
regulatory environment, a new approach must be found. Examine how
Network Technologies' Identity can transparently extend a user's
identity to the network layer, enabling granular access control and
critical asset protection.

------------------------------------------------------------
DL380:DIMM's Failure and Server Rebooting: I'm experiencing a memory
modules failure on an HP Proliant DL380 G3 netserver. The server
reboots, usually in the evenings. I tested the server with SmartStart
CD
and found that it can't pass a total memory test. (There are two tests:
the Noise test and Cache test. It failed both.) What can possibly be
the root of the problem? (I also have two DL380 servers with the same
problem.)
