Subject: NWCLUG project

NWCLUG Project:

Harper has a need in our network for a linux proxy server.  Because of 
NWCLUG's affiliation with Harper, we hope that you might assist us in 
this 
project, we hope it would be a good opportunity for the group as well 
as for us.

We will need this project completed by the first week of July.

The criteria are listed below:

This box/server will have 3 - 6 ports.
We need a linux proxy server that runs off of a CDROM that will do the 
following:
  NAT
  IP Tables for rule sets
  DNS server
  DHCP server
  possibly DDNS server
  possibly web server
  possibly NTP server
  log itself and the above to a log server

  For example a 3 port box would be set up for the following:
   1 port would be the feed or Internet connection
   2 ports would be for 2 separate class rooms
      the classrooms should not be able to talk to each other.  This 
is 
 because the 2 class rooms will look identical when inside of them.

We also need recommended multi-port nics for linux/this server.  A 4 
port would be ideal.

Documentation of how setup was done as well as how to make changes to 
it is also needed.
