The model will be produced in Hungary at a Flextronics facility with 200 employees. HP already produces computers, monitors and printers at various other facilities in Hungary. Blackmore, right, attended an American Chamber of Commerce AmCham business luncheon in Budapest, the first stop on a tour of Eastern and Central Europe, he said....Did you know Bulgaria was becoming "of strategic importance to HP"? Blackmore said so himself when he made stop two on his tour. While there, he met with Bulgaria's President Georgi Parvanov and announced that HP was setting up an international expert center in Bulgaria that would develop and implement high-tech solutions in the state and local administration.
